Polkamarkets is a decentralized and autonomous web3 prediction markets protocol.
Polkamarkets can be used to create prediction markets, place forecasts, trade positions and resolve markets without relying on any central entity. It is run by the user community.
On Polkamarkets, you can be a prediction market creator, a forecaster, an oracle and/or a curator, and help bring the future closer through forecasting.
Polkamarkets doesn’t require any deposits and uses blockchain technology to ensure transparent markets.
The protocol’s utility token, POLK, is used by its holders to secure and curate the quality of the markets.
Polkamarkets Protocol V2 is deployed on three Ethereum-compatible blockchains: Polygon, Moonbeam and Moonriver.
Polkamarkets is powered by open-source technology to which anyone can contribute. Developers and organisations are welcome to deploy their own version or integrate it in their own products.
