Polkamarkets is a decentralized, autonomous web3 prediction markets protocol. We empower users and organizations to create prediction markets, place forecasts, trade positions, and resolve outcomes on-chain.
The protocol is continuously evolving:
- Polkamarkets V2 introduced core decentralized prediction market functionalities and is deployed on Ethereum-compatible blockchains (Polygon, Moonbeam, and Moonriver).
- Polkamarkets V3 takes the next step by enabling fully customizable, community-driven “lands,” where social interaction and contests are embedded directly into the prediction experience.
On Polkamarkets, you can be a prediction market creator, a forecaster, an oracle, or a curator, helping to bring the future closer through forecasting. There are no centralized deposits, and blockchain technology ensures transparent and trustless markets.
The protocol’s utility token, POLK, secures and curates the quality of these markets. By locking POLK, you can even deploy your own Social Prediction Markets ecosystem in Polkamarkets V3.
Polkamarkets is powered by open-source technology to which anyone can contribute. Developers and organizations are welcome to deploy their own instances or integrate the protocol into their products.
